Procrastination isn’t always a bad thing!
We all have responsibilities and therefore, tasks we need to perform. Whether the task is household chores, studying, going to the store or completing a project for your boss, there are times when taking the necessary steps to start or complete the daunting task seems to evade us. So when is procrastination a negative and how can it be positive? Procrastination is a problem when it keeps you from making progress in your life. If your lack of motivation is causing you to lose out on opportunities then this is a negative effect. Using procrastination as an anchor in hypnosis to deter you from a habit you no longer desire, like smoking or overeating, for example, well that’s a positive. Both methods of procrastination are in your control, you just need to direct them to suit your needs.
